Simple scripting in psp.

OK this is my first tutorial so I hope you enjoy your lesson. What this tutorial is for is to show you how to use a script in psp. Scripts are in versions 8 and up. First of all there are a few sites that have some wonderful scrips out there. Let me give you a few links so you can find them and then figure out which you would like.

Suz's place Joske PSP tutorial links
I would like to start off with one of my fave scripts to use. It is a simple script and it came with my psp so I hope it is one everyone will have already.
1. You will need to open an
image to use the script on.
Find a picture or something
you would like to add a
border to. Now I am going
to show you where your
scripts are in case they are
hidden and you don't know
where they are.

2. Under view, go down to
toolbars. Make sure that
the word script has a check
next to it. Once it is
checked you will then have
a script box. You can see
mine just on the top left in
the blue bar that says corel
paint shop pro.

3. Go to your script box. See the black arrow it is pointing to a small blue arrow. Click on that
to drop down all of the scripts you have in your program.Once
you find the script called sloppy
edges click on it now it should be
in the top box next to the tiny
blue arrow.

4. Now find your Picture you opened so we can try out the script. Once your pic is up find the larger blue arrow next to the small blue arrow we just used to find your script. Once you click on this arrow your script will start.

5. Now your screen should
look like this. You have 4
boxes to choose the size of
border you would like to
have. I actually chose to
make mine larger and
picked size 12. You can
also right click on the black
color box and choose which color you would like to
make the border. Or you
can go to your image and
choose a color with the
dropper. I choose a blue
which you can see in the
next pic. When you are done
playing and find what you
want click OK.

6. Now it takes you to the
next screen. I didn't change anything on this page but
could have chosen a
different color or different
border sizes on this page
also. I just decided I want
to keep it white for this pic.
It is up to you and how you
would like your item to look.
When you are done click ok.

7. Last screen and you can
see it is a lot like the others
although there are a few
other things you can play
with and adjust. It is up to
you if you would like to
change the amount of
blurring or the size of
anything. I actually
changed the width to 8 but
that is all I changed for this
image. Play with them and
see the different results you
can get. It can look different
depending on what settings
you do and different colors
you use.

Here is what I came up with.
A nice little border all around
the edges. Have fun playing and finding lots of different looks. I
hope you have enjoyed this
lesson and you learned
something new.
